And So It Begins....

Last weekend I traveled to Port Townsend Washington for the 2017 Pocket Yacht Palooza. This is a wonderful gathering of small boat enthusiasts with an emphasis on sail and oar but not such purists as to shun the odd outboard auxiliary.

The other reason for traveling to the event was to meet up with Josh Colvin of the Small Craft Advisor magazine (smallcraftadvisor.com)  and Duckworks Boat Builders Supply (www.duckworksbbs.com).  I purchased plan set # 434 to build my very own SCAMP.
