The Boat, the Build, the Blog... the Plan

Well, it has been about one month since I brought my SCAMP kit home from Port Townsend and aside from stacking all the pieces neatly no progress towards an actual floating boat has been made.

The reason for this is that I am trying to tidy up some old projects around home and tidy up the garage/workshop prior to jumping in.  Also, the lead up to Christmas and my looming retirement date of January 5th have kept me busy on other fronts.

I have been thinking about blogging this build and have come up with a plan to blog regular progress reports rather than individual building milestones.  I may intersperse progress reports with 'special interest reports'.  That's the plan.  Bring on 2018!
